The Ohio Afterschool Network is a…
Convener
OAN is a statewide organization that serves afterschool and summer learning professionals across Ohio. Through our strong national, state, and local partnerships, we can efficiently provide our members with evidence-based best practices and valuable resources.
Connector
Members of OAN are innovative, forward-thinking afterschool and summer learning professionals with a heart for youth and an eye on the future. They are leaders in the field who believe in providing high-quality programs for youth so that they can grow and become successful adults.
Collective Voice
At OAN, we are dedicated to creating a collaborative environment where afterschool and summer learning providers, partner organizations, and allies can come together to share knowledge, learn from one another, and amplify their collective voice.
The C.S. Mott Foundation supports a national infrastructure of organizations dedicated to increasing the quality of afterschool programs for children, youth and families.
OAN is the proud state affiliate of the National Afterschool Association. NAA and OAN share a mutual purpose to support, develop, and advocate for Out-of-School Time professionals and the profession. NAA and its State Affiliates build connectivity among stakeholders and create opportunities for engagement to ensure a vibrant future for the Out-of-School Time profession.
For OST professionals who are not paid NAA members and live in Ohio, our affiliation and an OAN individual membership make you eligible for a free NAA membership. If you prefer, NAA membership may be purchased directly from NAA on a sliding scale from $25 to $150. For more info, visit https://www.oanohio.org/membership
